Embark on success: a step-by-step guide

Welcome to the Embark talent journey!

This page will serve as your personal roadmap through the Embark interview process. It outlines the different stages you’ll encounter, keeping you informed of your current position, and what exciting steps await you next!

Talent-Timeline

Step 1: Talent call—get to know us

This video chat is the first step towards joining Embark! During this conversation, a member of our Talent team will get to know you better. We will discuss your recent career history and aspirations for the future. This is also your opportunity to dig into Embark’s unique culture and learn what sets us apart from other firms.

Step 2: Peer conversation—your window into the future

This video or in-person chat will connect you directly with Embarker(s) in your chosen practice line, and no more than two levels of your anticipated entry point (i.e. a candidate exploring a Senior Associate role will interview with a Senior Associate, Manager, or Senior Manager). Use this opportunity to explore the day-to-day responsibilities directly from someone who has done/is doing the work.

Step 3: Leader conversation—diving deeper

This video or in-person conversation will be with a leader (Managing Director, Practice Leader, Service Leader, etc.) within your chosen practice line. This is your chance to do a deeper dive into your background and showcase your technical skills and experiences. Use this opportunity to explore growth expectations of the firm and practice, as well as what personal advancement 
would look like.

 

Step 4: Office visit—the experience

The final step in the process is to see our culture at work, with an in-office visit. Get a firsthand look at your local office (in some leadership roles, you will be flown to a local market or HQ in Dallas) and meet some fantastic people. Expect a more casual experience, take a tour of the office, share your story with a few Embarkers (and hear their story), and grab a meal or a coffee.

*While this is a laid back experience when compared to a traditional interview, please remember, you only get one chance at a first impression.

Step 5: Offer—you got the job!

Should we decide that this is a great fit, Embark will present a verbal offer and detailed benefit information following your office visit.
