I grew up between São Paulo, the city with the largest GDP in Latin America, and Rio de Janeiro, one of the most beautiful cities in the world. I first attended business school and discovered my passion for accounting during my initial (and perhaps only) accounting class. This led me to pursue a degree in accounting and later join PwC.

Over nearly 15 years with the firm, I served numerous assurance and capital markets clients across the U.S. and Latin America. Additionally, I gained experience across various industries, including financial services, consumer products, industrial products, technology, aerospace and defense, and healthcare.

Following my time at PwC, I spent over 2 years with SoftBank, one of the world's largest private equity firms. There, I was part of the deals and transactions teams, co-leading finance and accounting functions on multibillion-dollar deals. I also led the technical accounting function, covering investments in the U.S., Europe, and Latin America. Key accounting topics I managed included consolidation assessments, business combinations & divestitures, IPOs & SPAC transactions, revenue recognition, asset impairments, leases, and complex debt & equity financing.

Currently, at Embark, I serve as a Managing Director, providing financial and accounting advisory services to our clients and supporting the growth of our Miami office. My focus is twofold: assisting clients that report under or have exposure to the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and leading our CECL cohort group.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two daughters, hosting friends for a churrasco (barbecue in English), taking my vintage cars for a spin, and investing in real estate.
