I was born in Kentucky but have spent most of my life in Tennessee. I attended Belmont University, in Nashville, where I earned my Masters in Accounting. After graduation, I spent two years at Ernst & Young in the audit practice and then almost 15 years in the healthcare industry working at both public and private companies.
My experience includes accounting and financial reporting, controllership and transaction work such as a public company spin-off, tons of M&A and restructuring.
I then boomeranged back to public accounting spending a year at KPMG in transaction advisory before finding my home at Embark. Joining Embark has been the best career decision I’ve made and one that has cultivated my passion for people, allowing me to mentor consultants, encourage our working moms and provide exceptional care to our clients. I’m also utilizing my healthcare experience to help expand our healthcare FAAS practice nationally. I’m blessed to work at a company that supports my goals, encourages my growth and celebrates my strengths!
When I’m not working, I’m busy raising two children and cheering them on at sports and activities. I enjoy playing golf and traveling with my husband, and I sing on the worship team at my church.
Come join the Embark team!
Embark’s vision is simple: to be the best possible place to work. And if we deliver that to our people consistently, always aiming to learn and improve, we’ll continue to attract top talent and good humans. Excellent client service is then a byproduct of that top talent, the elite consultants and operators that make Embark tick.
